Surah An-Nas (114) — Mankind: Arabic text, translation and tafsir

قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿1﴾

1. Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind

مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿2﴾

2. The Sovereign of mankind

إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿3﴾

3. The God of mankind

مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ ﴿4﴾

4. From the evil of the retreating whisperer

ٱلَّذِي يُوَسۡوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿5﴾

5. Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind

مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ ﴿6﴾

6. From among the jinn and mankind
